Chillin at the roller rink!

Today we got up bright and early to be able to and get some skating done in Oshawa before the snow was gonna hit us in the pm.
I was super exited to be trying out skating on coated concrete! Since you never know where you're gonna be bouting it's really a privelige to be able to try out different types of floors.
My verdict; slick, but very fast. I slipped a bit if I pushed too hard coming out of the curves, but man, the speed I could keep at such little effort!

I managed to bring my partner with me as well and get him on some quads. He picked it up very fast and even learned to do some crossovers. I was so proud! But then he was bit by the hockey bug as a kid, so he's done a fair share of ice skating.
Now I just need to get him a pair of skates and start dragging him to practices so we can all collectively convince him to get in to reffing! ;p

In the pic of me I am having a coffee break with the seniors in the cafe section. So nice to be able to get a coffee and some nosh without having to lace off!

Let's get some nice roller tinker to Sweden, eh?!
